Team Structure
The Western Drug and Alcohol team (WDACT) is a local interagency partnership with lead responsibility for the local implementation of the New Strategic Direction for Alcohol and Drugs 2006-2011 throughout the Western Health and Social Services Board area.
The Team has three full time members of staff:
Barbara Ward, Senior Drug and Alcohol Co-ordinator
Denise McCallion, Drug and Alcohol Co-ordinator
Helen Patterson, Team Secretary
The WDACT has 18 members, representative of a wide range of agencies from the voluntary/community and statutory sectors.
Four sub groups were developed to take forward work in specific areas on behalf of the Team and these are:-

The sub groups are tasked with addressing specified activities in the WDACT Action Plan and to identify further areas of activity within their remit.
