John works as Senior Rural Connect Adviser with DARD based in Sperrin House Omagh. He has responsibility for identifying and meeting the development needs of farmers and members of farm families in Co.Tyrone linked to the strengthening of the rural economy and the development of the rural area.
His work involves signposting clients to DARD services or support programmes and facilitating farm families to access rural development funding to sustain and develop their rural business.
A graduate of Queens University Belfast, John is married to Diane with one daughter Cara.His interests include sport and all things rural.He is keen through his membership of IFH to promote the health and well being of rural dwellers.
